Live working (L-AUS)

Target group

This course is relevant for electricians and electrical service engineers in electrical contractor companies, who work on electric installations.

Skills

The participant learns how to perform live working (L-AUS) on electric installations according to the international standard DS/EN 50110-1.

In this course, the participant:

• Gains understanding of the requirements in DS/EN 50110-1 regarding live working
• Learns to make the necessary evaluations when dealing with live working
• Achieves an orientation about the requirements in DS/EN 50110-1
• Learns how to inspect and evaluate the need for approved equipment before the work is begun
• Learns which tools and equipment are to be used for live working 
  

Form of teaching

The course is completed online, as e-learning. The course consists of teaching slides with sporadic quizzes and ends with a final test. The participant must answer at least 80% of the questions correct in order to be issued a course certificate. 

Preconditions

The participant is expected to have a basic knowledge of electric work, and to be familiar with DS/EN 50110-1.

Duration

The participant is expected to use about 1,5-2 hours at the course.
